Check out the trailer above for a brief look at what you can expect from the adorable Harvest Moon excursion, and keep an eye out for our review coming soon. We're big Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons fans here, and can't wait to see more from Natsume as the year wears on. This is definitely a step in the right direction, so hopefully this is what will end up being released in the future.

In Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories, players must restore an abandoned farm to its former glory by tilling land, growing crops, and tending livestock. Crops and animal products can be sold for in- game cash, which can then be used to purchase new items and upgrade farming tools. It's unclear if Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories actually marks a positive turn for the storied Harvest Moon name. If the game's wonky control scheme - which lacks an on-screen keyboard and requires players tap individual tiles, is any indication - Seeds of Memories might not be worth checking out.

As my farm improved, I was able to take time to forage around the mountain and town where I met various and unique villagers. To my surprise, I was able to marry my favorite bachelorette in the game, Ann! I experimented by giving her various presents To find out her likes and dislikes, which kept me playing for hours!

Sadly this is a case of wanting to have your cake and eating it too. I understand, agree with and see some of the points, but I also would hate to see this turn someone, especially someone new to the series, away because of past experience on a different system. Characters have almost no interaction with each other or the world; they're simply marionettes that come to life at your touch.

A shorter and less detailed version of Harvest Moon games past, but still a great game nonetheless! The best game I have ever purchased on my phone. If you're a HM fan or just looking for a fun game to pass some time, this is it! Mmm I think you made a mistake Patrick. Harvest Moon ANB was a good one and was made by Marvelous. It was harvest moon: the lost valley that was released by Natsume and terrible. So for now, please enjoy these first screens of the iOS version of the game, and please be sure to check back for another Developer Diary coming soon!
